She was the widow of George T. Hawkins Jr.

Mrs. Hawkins worked for the former Lymansville Manufacturing Co., and the Allendale Co., both in North Providence, and for the Mine Safety Appliance Co. in Smithfield for five years before retiring in 1963.
She is survived by four daughters, a brother, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
