Bobby loved his family more than anything. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going on cruises and music {especially playing the guitar}. He was a domino player and enjoyed organizing all things. He served in the US Army as a Sargent during the Vietnam era.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna Mae Looney.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Ashley LouAnn Barker and Jennifer Beth Barker; grandchildren, Micheal Price, Keziah Price and Hudson Barker; brothers and sisters in love, Jackie and Shari Ames, Shelli and Mark Freeman and David and Jim Ames; parents in love, Mary Lou and Jack Ames; nephews, Robert Looney and Belinda, David Ames Jr. and Karin, Zack Ames and fiancée Jordan Pynes, Dustin Ames, Dillon Elmore and Brad Hodge; nieces, Melinda Taber and Bill, Kari Ames and fiancée Shawn Webber, Holly Hodge, Kasey Freeman, Kaitlyn Freeman and Sara Kim; great nephews, Jacob Looney, Brandon Taber, Blake Looney, Lucius Ames, Enrique Ames, Zander Ames, Nolan Ames, Broady Hodge, Landon Hodge and Camden Freeman, and many other family and friends.
Bobby was kindhearted, supportive and genuine. He was a loving husband, the world’s best dad and greatest son-in-law and he will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Capitol Hill Assembly of God with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Barnes Friederich Funeral Home of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
