He was the son of George W. and Harriet S. Reeves Reney. He married Marie S. Gruet, who has died. They had no children. Mr. Reney was a retired plumber and tinsmith.
He was a member of the Foresters of America and of the Junior Order of American Mechanics. A half sister, Mrs. Blanche Reney of California, survives, as do two nephews and two nieces.
Mr. Reney was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. The funeral service was held on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Pino Funeral Home, the Rev. Roy L. Webber officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
