James W. Clark, 84, of West Fargo, ND, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home. James W. Clark was born on August 8, 1930 at Fargo, ND to Francis and Helen (Rinehardt) Clark. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1948. He served in the US Air Force. James married Elizabeth Peterson on May 24, 1955 at Moorhead, MN. Throughout his working years, he worked for Armour Packing Plant and West Fargo Stockyards, the Railroad, Northern States Power, and then bartended at local West Fargo establishments. He chose a career with Daveau/Schmidt Music as the educational sales representative. He sold many instruments to area school children for their bands and orchestras. He retired in 2001, shortly after the death of his wife.
James is survived by seven children, Sandy Heglie, Judy Grinde, Mike, Tim, John, Tom and James R. Clark; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth; and brother, Jack Clark.
