MRS. ANNA (GAJDA) RYAN
Mrs. Anna (Gajda) Ryan of 35 East Market Street, died Sunday night at her home following several weeks' illness.
Born in Nanticoke, she resided 55 years in Wilkes-Barre. She was a member St. Mary's Polish Church, Park Avenue.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor (Peters) Pietlukewicz, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Edith Devine, St. Helen, Oregon, and Mrs. Anastasia Heckman, Hatboro, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Schwartz, Nanticoke; Mrs. Josephine Ordakowski, Long Island, N.Y., and Mrs. Elizabeth Prymankiewicz, Nuangola; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son, Joseph Guida, died March 1951, at Rosenburg, Oregon.
The funeral will be held from the family home on Friday at 10 with a requiem mass in St. Mary's Church, Park Avenue, at 10:30. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Wyoming.

The funeral of Mrs. Anna (Gajda) Ryan was held Friday morning from her home, 35 East Market Street, with a mass of requiem in St. Mary's Church, Park Avenue. Msgr. W. A. Losieniecki was celebrant of the mass. Joseph Jacobs was organist.
Burial was in the parish cemetery, Wyoming, where Rev. Edmund Adamkewicz conducted the committal service.
Pallbearers were Anthony Bednarz, Anthony Zaniewski, John Kowalski, Joseph Mrozoski, Joseph Lusnia and Albin Sidor.
