He was the manager for Jobst Monument Company in Ottawa. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the Ottawa Marble Association, the American Wood Carving Association, Ducks Unlimited, and the Ottawa Art League.
He is survived by a daughter, Ronda (David) Brozovich of Ottawa; by a grandson, Josh Brozovich of Ottawa; and by two brothers, Donald (GiGi) Hetzner and John Hetzner, both of New York.
A daughter, Kathleen Hetzner, died in infancy.
