Emma Daisy Lamb was a civilian casualty of WW2

Emma was born in Whitechapel in 1872, the daughter of Charles and Lydia Emma Brett (nee Plummer). She was a sister to Charles, Lily, Rose, Violet and Edith Brett. On the 4th June 1892, Emma married Frank Thomas James Lamb in Tower Hamlets. Frank,a stock clerk died in 1926

Sadly Emma and her family, daughters Daisy, Ethel, Eleanor, son Thomas and his wife Winifred perished in an air raid over their home in Third Avenue, Manor Park. At the time of her passing Emma was 68 years of age. The family were laid to rest at Manor Park cemetery on the 25th September 1940.
