JOSEPH FRANZ
Joseph Franz, 85, retired farmer of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, died Thursday morning
at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where he had been a patient since June 13.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc. Funeral
Home, Two Rivers, and at 9:30 a.m. Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. The Rev.
John K. Mueller will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Franz was born in the Town of Two Rivers June 12, 1875, son of the late
Conrad and Theresa Sprang Franz. He farmed in the township until three years
ago when he became ill and the last four years had made his home with a sister,
Mrs. Henry Sand, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers.
She survives along with nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
