SHEEHAN, MARIE A. BERNASKY, 90, of Louisville, our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away on Easter Sunday morning, April 16, 2006.
She was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, St. Joseph Ladies Sewing Society, St. Brigid Alter Sodality, and she was a 1933 graduate of Mercy Academy.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John P. Sheehan.
She is survived by her son, Richard J. Sheehan (Rosemary); two daughters, Ann Marie Roth (Don), and Mary Patricia Miller (Emmett); seven grandchildren, Anthony Sheehan (Sue), Patricia Wildt (Steve), Christine Sheehan, Annett Lynch (Charles), Denis Roth (Christa), Greg Miller (Karen), and Shannon Miller; and nine great-grandchildren, Alex, Rachel, Patrick, Thomas, Anna, Lizzy, Theresa, Matt and Ben.
Many thanks to the caring staff at Twinbrook Nursing Home who cared for our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Avenue, with burial in Calvary cemetery. Her visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison Avenues. Expression of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.
