Tom H. Chiles, age 90, of Copper Canyon, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, at his home.
He was born May 18, 1925 in Friona, Texas to R.L. Chiles and Eva L. Foster Chiles. Tom spent a brief time in the Navy toward the end of World War II. He married Helen Anderson who preceded him in death on September 16, 1998. Tom later married Glenda L. Smith on June 5, 1999 in Argyle. He was a member of Argyle United Methodist Church and retired as a heating and air conditioning contractor.
Tom is survived by his wife, Glenda; children, Larry A. Chiles and wife, Lynette, Michael J. Chiles and wife, Kathy, Joe A. Chiles and wife, Shari, Justin H. Smith and wife, Christine and Jordan H. Smith; eleven grandchilden; eight great grandchildren; sister, Billie Stewart and many extended family members.
