Anna Belle Bennett,- 86, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away on June 9, 2015, inHydro, Oklahoma. She was born on December 9, 1928, to Marvie B and Tina (Aplin) Beckham in Colony, Oklahoma. Anna Belle graduated from Colony High School in 1946, and later went on to marry WB Bennett at the Bethel Baptist Church on March 15, 1947. She was a member of the Alfalfa Baptist Church, Home Extension Club, Rebekah Lodge in Alfalfa, and Cowden Precinct where she helped with voting. Anna Belle was well known for her quilting and was an excellent seamstress. Her survivors include her spouse, W.B. Bennett, of the home; her daughter, Sharlene Pope and her husband Glen of Weatherford, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Glendall Smith and her husband Karry, of Dill City, Oklahoma; grandsons, Dustin Pope and his wife Kimberly of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Devery Pope of Weatherford, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, MaKaeli and Ebany Smith, Kimber, Colt, Hunter, and Ty Pope, and Hayden, Jaxon and Connor Pope; sister-in-law, Maxine Beckham of Wichita Falls, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers,Hubert Beckham, Glen Dale Beckham, and his wife, Josie; and sister-in-law Christine Smith and her husband Jack. Funeral service were held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Alfalfa Baptist Church. Officiating were Reverand Joe Sanders and Reverand Larry Chapman. Burial followed at the Alfalfa Cemetery, under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
