There was a large funeral here Sat. of the well-known father of
our Pastor Geissler of the Catholic Church, with whom he had been
staying for some time. (Article does not name the father.)

Andrew C. Geissler, father of Rev. J. A. Geissler, of Two Rivers
died at the home of his son, Wednesday evening, aged 79 years. He
has been in poor health a long time and dropsy together with the
infirmities of age cause his death. Born at Baden, Germany, he
came to America in 1847 locating in New Jersey; of late years he
made his home with his son at Two Rivers. Besides his aged wife,
two daughters, Mrs. Amelia Rusfing, of New York State, and Miss
Agnes Geissler, together with one son, Rev. J. A. Geissler,
pastor of St. Luke’s church at Two Rivers, survive him.

The step-mother and half-sister of Rev. Father Geissler who came here to attend the funeral of The Rev. Father Geissler's father, returned to their home in Patterson, New Jersey last Thursday.
