RYNELLA - Services for Rebecca Ann Bayless, 38, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, at St. Marcellus Church. Memorial services were held today in Huntsville, Ala. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 1-10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Huntsville, Ala., for many years, Miss Bayless died at 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, in Huntsville.

Miss Bayless was a general manager for the Olive Garden Restaurant and was General Manager of the Year for two consecutive years. She was a highly respected businesswoman and a 1981 graduate of New Iberia Senior High.

She is survived by companion, Susan Duplessis; her parents, Kenneth E. Bayless Sr. and Mary Romero Bayless; her brother, Kenneth E. Bayless Jr., and his wife, Ellen B. Bayless, and nephew, Benjamin Bayless, 3, all of Broussard; and her sister, Melissa Bayless Migues, and her husband, Huey Migues, and two nephews, Michael Paul Dugas, 21, and Daniel Dugas, 18, and niece, Savannah Derouen, 4.

Miss Bayless was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Edith Bayless.

Pallbearers will be Jay Steele, Richard Cieglo, Huey Migues and Daniel Dugas.

Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
