Mrs. S. F. Hetzler passed away at her home at eight o'clock on Thursday evening, April 27th, 1933 after an illness of eight weeks.
At 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 30, the funeral services was held at the Congregational church of which Mrs. Hetzler has been a loyal member for forty years. Rev. Morrill, who conducted the service, used as his text Genesis 1:10. A quartette composed of D. G. Howell, M. B. Krause, C. A. Bull and John Papez, accompanied by Mrs. Roy Burt at the organ, sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", "Now the Day is Over" and "Asleep in Jesus".
Interment followed in Rose Hill cemetery where the Royal Neighbor lodge, of which Mrs. Hetzler was a member, had charge of the service.
The pallbearers were Messrs. F. A. Doten, W. E. Baker, W. B. Martin, F. M. Weitzel, R. T. Flotree and A. E. Browder.
Mrs. Hetzler was born in Dyersville, Iowa and moved to Albion in 1889 where she was married and formed many close friendships. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, S. F. Hetzler; a daughter, Mrs. R. H. Kellner of Riverside, Illinois; a granddaughter, Marjorie Kellner and a sister, Mrs. N. S. Gilmer.
