He is survived by his wife of 49 years Diana (Cichon) Kuzawa ; his sister, Donna Williams of TX; his brother: Bernard Kuzava of MI; brother-in-law, Mitchell Cichon of Webster, MA, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria McKissick.
Hank was a graduate of Bartlett High school class of 1960 and served 4 years in the Air Force from 1961 until 1965. He was employed by Wajer’s Express as a maintenance supervisor for over 30 years as well as 10 years at Shepherd Hill Regional High School, retiring in 2002.
He belonged to the Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks 2118 and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 170. He was also a longstanding member of the NRA. He served on the Police Evaluating Committee and the Zoning Board of Appeals for the town of Dudley for many years.
Hank was a loving husband and was many things to many people: handyman, devoted friend, and father figure. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Calling hours will be Friday, June 26 from 9:00AM to 10:30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery, Oxford Ave, Dudley, with Rev. Robert Fredrickson officiating and the Webster-Dudley Veterans Council providing Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leonard’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
