Funeral services for Mrs. Marianne Ransom Cullom, wife of J. C. Cullom of Wilson, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the family residence on Carson Lake Road, with Rev. E. G. Kaezel, pastor of the Methodist Church at Wilson, officiating. Burial was in Ermen Cemetery here.
Mrs. Cullom who was 82, died Saturday night at her home following an illness of 13 months.
Born in Murphysboro, Tenn., the daughter of Joseph Ransom, Mrs. Cullom had lived at Wilson for 40 years. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. S. C. Brandon, Sr., and one son, J. R. Cullom, Sr., all of Wilson; three sisters, Mrs. A. R. King, Sr., Mrs. B. W. Cooper and Mrs. J. R. Biles all of Murphysboro, Tenn. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: J. R. Cullom, Jr., Howell Nicholson, S. C. Brandon, Jr., John C. Cullom III, Jerry W. Cullom and S. A. Regenold.
