"Ignatius Deleski, 57, dies at Miami Hospital"
Rosary was recited for Ignatius "Jake" Deleski Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Walker's Globe Mortuary. Requiem High Nass was sung at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery with the Veterans of Foreign Wars officiating.
A 34-year-resident of Miami Mr. Deleski was a heavy duty mechanic at Inspiration Copper Co. From 1929 to to 1946, he worked as a mechanic in San Carlos. During World War II, he was a member of the Seabees with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Deleski was born August 17, 1905 in Burwell, Neb. and died Saturday at Miami-Inspiration Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, of Miami, a step sister, Mrs. Anna Gonzales of California, and three brothers, Walter and Edward of California and John of Kansas.
