Nancy M. Hamilton, 64, of Greene passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Kenneth and Flossie Hamilton; brother, Leroy Hamilton; sister, Janet Harris and brother, Eugene Hamilton. Nancy is survived by her Aunt Neta McIntyre; nephews, Roger Harris and wife Diane, Scott Harris and wife Debbie, William Hamilton and nieces, Lisa Rosh, Joyce Tanner and Connie Lanfair and husband Art, along with several great nieces and nephews. She graduated from Greene Central Schools in 1969. She worked and retired from Greene Technologies. Nancy was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and true friend. A constant provider of comfort and support, she never overlooked someone in need. Nancy touched so many lives through her kind words, outgoing personality, humor, and delicious homemade treats. She was one of a kind; the most special of kinds. The world will never be the same. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St., Greene, NY 13778.
