William Kimsey Jackson was the son of Benjamin Jasper Jackson and Mary Jane Brewster Jackson.
He married Ethel Florence Moore on May 10, 1914 in Wayne County, Missouri.
They had a daughter, Opal Evelyn Jackson, on March 3, 1915.
They lost an infant daughter on February 7, 1917.
They had a son, James Loyd Jackson, on March 31, 1918.

Ethel died of pneumonia on November 12, 1918. She was 22.
7 1/2 month old son, James, died 3 days later.
They are buried in Woolard Cemetery, Wayne County, MO.

William remarried to Mary Bryan Matthews on April 14, 1922. Mary was the daughter of William Henry Matthews and Louisa Jane Eliza Nelson.

The family is in Pilot Knob in 1930. Opal left Pilot Knob shortly thereafter, married and started a family.

William was a bridge carpenter for Frisco Railroad Company in Cape Girardeau. He & Mary relocated to Poplar Bluff for several years.
