BERNARDI Bert Bernardi, age 85, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Mary Nash Bernardi, died Saturday, July 1 2006 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mr. Bernardi was born in Bridgeport and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Bernardi was a retired toolmaker for Central Tool Co, and Moore Special Tool. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors in addition to his wife, include a son, ----- Bernardi and his wife, -------, of Newtown; a daughter; ---- Hillman and husband, -----------, of Tapon Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren, -----, ----- and ---- Bernardi; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport, and at 9:30 a.m. in the Assumption Church, Fairfield, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Resurection Cemetery, Newtown. Friend's may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
