Daughter of Charles Wesley & Mary Emiline (Emily) Davis Sadler; widow of William Joseph Alexander.
Her obituary stated she died in her home in Hendersonville after a long illness; she had
lived in Asheville prior to moving to Hendersonville a few months before her
death.
Celeste was survived by two daughters,
Miss Ruth P. Alexander and Miss Serena D. Alexander, and one son, Prof. Cuthbert C. Alexander of Baldwin University in Baldwin, Kansas.
Funeral services: Saturday, May 12, 1934, graveside at Lewis Memorial Park, conducted
by Dr. R.F. Campbell of First Presbyterian Church and Dr. Lewis P. Wilds of Henderson- ville.
