Funeral for Clark S Bailey on Sunday
Was Well known Man
Ortonville, May 31-Funeral for Clark S. Bailey, 83 years old retired farmer of Brandon Township, and a lifelong resident of that section, will be held Sunday at 2:30pm from the Seymour Lake Church. Mr. Bailey's death Wednesday resulted from heart disease. He had been ill about two weeks.
Born in Brandon Township, September 16, 1847, practically all his life was spent in farming in the township. A few years ago he retired from active labor and had established his home in Atlas Township, three miles north of here.
Surviving are the widow, and the following children: Mrs. G. Muchie and Mrs. M. M. Haines of Detroit: Emmett of Oxford: G. C. Bailey of Ortonville: Blanche Bailey of Pontiac: Mrs. D.E. Kelly of Yale Michigan and two brothers Rev. John Bailey of Brown City and Herman Bailey of Bay City.
Burial will be in the Seymour Lake Cemetery
