Edna Osterling Passes Away
Services for Mrs. Charles (Edna) Osterling, 76, of Augusta, who passed away last Sunday afternoon, were scheduled Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Schlueter Funeral Home, Augusta. Rev. Marvin Rosa officiated at the rites. Interment was in Augusta Cemetery. Mrs. Osterling was born June 24, 1893, in Charleston Township, the daughter of Charles and Winifred Church Allison and lived in the Augusta area all of her life. She was a member of the Augusta Rebekkah Lodge and the United Methodist Church of Augusta. She was married to Charles Osterling in Kalamazoo on Dec. 23, 1915. He survives. Other survivors include four sons, William, at home; Wayne, Battle Creek; Charles, Jr., Scotts, and Carl, Galesburg; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Bridenstine, Delton, 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Roy and Leon Allison, both of Battle Creek, and Clyde Allison, St. Petersburg, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. Benjamin (Agnes) Ashley of Battle Creek.
