ISABEL HESS
Mrs. Frank J. Hess, 78, formerly of 1513-26th St., Two Rivers, died early Thursday afternoon at Hopedale Hospital, Delavan, Ill., where she had been a patient three and one-half months. Prior to her confinement in the hospital, she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. John (Clarita) Gabbett, of Delavan for 10 months.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, where a solemn requiem high Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Hess was born Isabelle Beth July 8, 1886 (sic), at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Fred and Angeline Wolfe Beth. She attended Two Rivers public schools and was graduated from Washington High School. She was a teacher at the old Roosevelt Elementary School for a number of years.
She was married to Frank J. Hess at Two Rivers Sept. 10, 1962 (sic). He died 14 months ago. Mrs. Hess was a member of the St. Luke Altar Society.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Gabbett, she is survived by 10 grandchildren. A son, Francis, died three years ago. Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 3 p.m. Monday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
