Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Hodek was born September 28, 1900, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Joseph and Katherine Krause Hodek. He married Viola Wachtel on June 7, 1927, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Hodek worked at Schroeders Department Store and later at Beduhn's and went into business for himself as owner and operator of the Two Rivers Linoleum and Carpet Shop, retiring in 1961. Mr. Hodek was a member of the Men of Holy Redeemer.
Survivors include his wife, Viola; a sons (sic) and daughter-in-law, James and Sandy Hodek of Two Rivers; a daughter, Barbara Wagner of Two Rivers; six grandchildren, Gary and Ric Wagner of Abiline, Texas, Brenda Wagner of Milwaukee, Julie Hodek of Millington, Tennessee, and Torrie and Scott Hodek of Two Rivers, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, a half-sister, and a half-brother.
There will be no Monday evening visitation at the funeral home. Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
