Viola M. Hodek, age 91, formerly of 3304 Prairie St., Two Rivers, died Monday, May 25, 1992 at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 1992, at the St. Mary's Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born in Two Rivers n May 1, 1901, daughter of the late Joseph J. and Barbara Ann Kabat Wachtel. She married Wencil J. Hodek on June 7, 1927 at St. Luke Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1985. She graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, and the Manitowoc Business College. She was a charter member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers, and the ladies of Holy Redeemer.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sandy Hodek, Two Rivers; a daughter Barbara and Tom, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Tekla Wachtel of Wauwatosa; grandchildren, Julie Hodek Hart of Florida, Torre and Scott Hodek, Two Rivers, Gary and Debbie Wagner, of South Dakota, Richard and Donna Wagner, of South Dakota, Brenda Wagner of Milwaukee; great grandchildren, Jason and Tracy Wagner, Two Rivers, Travis Wagner of Florida, Misty and Rikki Wagner of South Dakota, and Michael Hart of Florida. She was preceded by one brother, Rueben.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Home or Holy Redeemer Church. Friends may call at the St. Mary's Home Chapel from 8 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. There will be no visitation at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home.
