Shannon D. Chester, 55, died at his home in Altus Saturday, June 20, 2015. Inurnment at Fort Sill National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Cremation and National Cemetery Inurnment arrangements are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Shannon D. Chester was born July 5, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas to Allie and Joann (Smith) Chester. He went home to the Lord our God and his Mother and Father and older brothers, Dennis and Danny on June 20, 2015. He was a United States Army veteran and served three years from 1979 to 1982. Shannon was a painter by trade.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and wives, Kathy and Tammy.

Shannon is survived by his daughter, Lesley Corinne Howe; two brothers, Donnie and Dewight Chester; three grand daughters, TateLynn, Jaleigh and Gabrielle; a sister-in-law, Mary Chester; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
