J.C. Esslinger, 79, a retired farmer of the Gurley community, died this morning at Huntsville hospital after an illness of pneumonia. He was brought to the hospital last Tuesday.
Survivors:
Four daughters: Mrs. Eldred Ellett, Mrs. James Bennett, and Mrs. Howard Rutland, all of Gurley; Mrs. Ted Flowers of Camden, Arkansas.
One son: James Esslinger of Gurley.
Several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral will be on Monday at Gurley Methodist church with Rev. James Harris officiating.
