Herbert B. Zimmerman, 83 of 407 Hendricks St, Merrill, died on Monday morning, May 22, 1995 at Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill.
Herbert was born in Merrill on November 15, 1911 to Herman and Minnie Schulz Zimmerman. He married Mildred Zimmerman on March 23, 1935.
Prior to his retirement in the early 1970's, Herbert worked in the plating department at Merrill Manufacturing Corporation. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Mildred of Merrill; a daughter Arlene Polack, also of Merrill; a son Gary (Linda) Zimmerman, Oneida; a sister Hertha Gemin, Carpentersville, IL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Harry Zimmerman.
Funeral services were held on Thursday morning, May 25, 1995 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Merrill. The Rev. Kenneth Albers officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery.
