She was a homemaker and had worked for a college in Cincinnati, OH. She was a member of the First Free Will Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed family activities, sitting in the ayrd and enjoying flowers and nature. She loved babies very much.
She is survived by eight children, Willie Mae DeHart of New Castle, Fred Proffit of Somerset, KY, Evonda Capps of Terre Haute, Betty Roberts of Terre Haute, Diane McDaniel of New Castle, Scott Adams of Kentucky, William Stidhem and Brenda; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jessie Strunk, Georgina Blair and Willie Jean Adams; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Stidhem; and one brother, Charles Caudill.
Calling will be one hour before the service. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Kevin Flannigan. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
