Mrs. William Jaeger, 69, nee Rebecca Varaneau, of 1611 18th street, Two Rivers,
died this morning, following a two months illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at St. Lukes church, Two Rivers.
The body may be viewed at the Klein and Stangel, Inc., funeral home after 7
p.m. Saturday.
She was born in Two Rivers in 1876 and in 1898 was married to William Jaeger.
Survivors are the husband, four sons, Richard, technician third class, who is
with the medical corps somewhere in the Philippines, Albert of Sherwood, Louis
and Edward of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Clara Schwalberg of Portland, Ore.,
and six grandchildren.
A son, Pfc. Fred Jaeger, was killed in action in Italy in February, 1944.
