Monroe A. Bilbo, 81, of Poplarville, MS, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Funeral services will at White Funeral Home, Poplarville on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will in Poplarville City Cemetery.

Mr. Bilbo was born August 12, 1933 in Poplarville to Joel and Ethel Stuart Bilbo. He was a Superintendent with St. Regis Paper Company for 25 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplarville. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and cattle farmer.

In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy Bilbo, John Bilbo, Harold Bilbo; two sisters, Virginia McElveen and Mary Byrd.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bilbo; daughters, Hilda (Minor) Harwelll; Carol (Sean) Rains, all of Poplarville; four brothers, Rupert (Melba) Bilbo of Wiggins, Jimmy (Peggy) Bilbo of Mobile, AL, Alonzo (Jane) Bilbo of Leeds AL., Norman (Sarah) Bilbo of Poplarville; two sisters, Celeste (Paul) Stewart of Picayune, Patricia (A.J.) Badeaux of Long Beach, MS; four grandchildren, Blake Bilbo Harwell, Weston Smith Harwell, Riley Allen Smith and Seana Carol Rains; two great-grandchildren, Mooney Monroe Smith, and Romy Renee Smith.
