Mrs. Frank Kaufman (sic) of Two Rivers died at her home on Sunday last after a
long and painful illness. She was 62 years old.

Kaufmann - At her home in this city, November 7, 1897, Catherine, wife
of Franz Kaufmann, aged 62 years. Deceased was born in Heppenbach,
Germany, January 14, 1835, her maiden name being Catherine Jasper. She
was married to Franz Kaufmann, who survives her on May 22, 1856 and the
following year came with her husband to Two Rivers where her home has
since been. Besides her husband she leaves six grown up sons and one
daughter, all of whom reside in this city. Her sickness was a long and
painful one and death came to her as a relief. She was a devoted wife
and mother and a kind and considerate neighbor. Her funeral takes place
from St. Luke's Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 9:30.
