Mrs. Michael Kabat, 52, a resident here the past year, died early today at
Maplecrest sanatorium at Whitelaw, where she had been a patient two weeks.
The body was taken to the Jansky funeral home. Burial will be in that city.
Mrs. Kabat, nee Eva Allen, was born at Two Creeks April 25, 1887. She resided
in Two Creeks until a few years before her marriage to Mr. Kabat in Chicago
in 1905.
From Chicago the couple went to Two Rivers and about one year later moved to
a farm in the town of Gibson. After a few years on the farm they returned to
Two Rivers and lived there 25 years, until 1931. Then they returned to the
farm and remained there until about a year ago when they moved to Manitowoc.
Survivors are the widower; two sons, Melvin and Lyle, both of this city; a
brother, Aleck Allen, of Boston, Mass.; half-brother, Charles Elliott, of
West Alis; and half-sister, Mrs. Matt Koch, of Milwaukee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Michael Kabat, 52, of this city, who died Saturday
at Whitelaw, will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Jansky funeral home
in Two Rivers and at nine o'clock from the St. Luke's Catholic church. Burial
will be in Calvary cemetery in Two Rivers.
The body is at the funeral home.
