Miss Eileen Bland, 21, of 128 Fairview street, died May 18th at her home. Miss Bland had been employed for several months at City Hospital as a bookkeeper and stenographer before her fatal illness. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ellen Bland; by two brothers, Thomas and William Bland; by three sisters, the Misses Hester, Maureen, and Rita Bland; and by an aunt, Miss Jane O'Sullivan, a nurse at City Hospital. Funeral services were at St. Vincent de Paul Church, where a solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated.
