Todd was born May 12, 1966 to Ralph and Joyce Gustafson Crystal.

He died at the home he grew up in and loved in White City on June 22, 2015 at the age of forty-nine.

He had an adventurous, energetic spirit, a love of the out-of-doors, hunting, snowboarding, snow skiing, jet skiing, golfing, and was an all-around sport-enthusiast.

He took his first family vacation to San Francisco when he was six weeks old, and every summer from then on his family went on a vacation, traveling throughout the western United States, Texas, Canada, and Mexico.

He graduated from Jordan High School in 1984, where his love of sports continued. Shortly after, he met Stephanie, whom he loved so much he married her twice! Later divorced, but forever loved. They had three children: Rachel, Darrin, and Kassandra (step-daughter).

His most cherished moments were with his family, as he would say, "work hard, live large, play hard." In following his own mantra, he started his own construction contracting business known as Todd Crystal Painting, Inc. and was always determined to do a meticulous job.

Todd made many lifetime friends with his big heart and enthusiasm, and was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Joyce Crystal; and brother, Darrin Crystal. He is survived by Stephanie, his children, Kassandra, Rachel, and Darrin; siblings, Ralph (Tammy) Crystal, Sandy; Shane Crystal, Sandy; Lisa (Douglas) Wright, Monticello; Tim Crystal, Helena, Montana; Jeremy (Angela) Crystal, Springville; and Scott (Michelle) Crystal, Parker, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sandy Central Stake Center, 1050 East Galena Drive (9800 South), Sandy. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale, on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services at the church on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
