Frank Robert Wendlandt

Taken by Death; Rites Thursday Frank Robert Wendlandt, 62, died at 3 p. m. Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alexander Bender, 1132 Lincoln boulevard, following an illness of two years with a complication of ailments.

He was born on Sept. 27, 1882, in Werder, Germany, the son of William and Pauline Marten. Wendlandt, but had made Muscatine his home for the past 58 years He was of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline Wendlandt, route 1, Letts; two sons, William Wendlandt, Muscatine, and Robert, route 1, Letts; one daughter, Irma Wendlandt Bender, Muscatine; one sister Mrs. Lena Grothers, Muscatine; two grandchildren, Robert and Marie Wendlandt.

His parents, one sister, Emilie Grensing, and one brother, Albert Wendlandt, preceded him in death.

The body is at the Ralph J Wittich Funeral home where it will remain for services, to be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Thursday by the Rev. Julius F, Holm, pastor of Zion Lutheran church.

Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
