After giving birth to twin girls yesterday, Mrs. Carl Wagner, 26 years old, died early this morning at her home, 419 Beggs street. Influenza followed by pneumonia caused her death. Mr. Wagner and three little children are sick in bed with the disease.

Mrs. Wagner, who was formerly Dottie Schmidt, was born in Muscatine and resided here her entire life. She married Edward Amerine of this city, who preceded her in death several years. A few years later she married Carl Wagner, who, with four children, survive.

To survive, she leaves her husband, four children and her father, H. S. Schmidt, of this city.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from the home. Rev U. S. Smith, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
