Emma L. Brazke, 86, of Myerstown, died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
She was the wife of Robert L. Brazke, who died July 18, 2003.
Born in Williamsport, PA on April 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Rachel E. (Miller) West.
A graduate of Williamsport High School, she was a member of Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren, Lebanon. Emma was employed as a nurse's aide in Prince George's County, Maryland, for 23 1/2 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Twinges and Hinges Aerobics Group at the YMCA. She enjoyed crafts, needlepoint embroidery, cooking, and church projects.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Martin, of Severn, MD, Doris, wife of Andy Keeton, of Chester, VA, Cathy, wife of Arthur Gibson, of Baltimore, MD, Frances, wife of William Binette, of Beauford, SC; sons, Donald Humphrey, of Perry Point, MD, Martin Humphrey, of Cantonsville, MD, and David Brazke, of Myerstown; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robin Humphrey in 2001; and a daughter, Nancy Beck in 2013.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren, Lebanon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren "Building Fund", 2087 Mt. Zion Road, Lebanon, PA 17046.
