It was a cold day on March 20, 1976, but spring was in the air when Ryan Bernard Taylor opened his eyes. He was presented to his loving parents, the 3rd son of 4 children. Being born into a christian home to parents who knew the importance of placing him in God's hands. Ryan was christianed six weeks later and grew up in church participating in the Youth Programs.

At the age of 29 Ryan "R.T." Taylor passed away suddenly on October 15 of 2005 from an automobile accident(Hit and Run). He was a member of Mount Olive Church of God in Christ. Ryan was a graduate of Ypsilanti High School and attended Ferris State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was an accomplished pianist and played saxophone. His benevolent and caring spirit sought to prioritize what was important to him, He became a "A Servant Child", ones who primary purpous in life was to care for his parents and others. Contributions were made to the Ypsilanti High School Symphonic Band in his memory.
