Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Catholic
Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhyner will officiate with burial
in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Dr. Klein was born Oct. 30, 1884 at Podolm, Hungary, son of the late
Joseph and Julia Klein Klein, immigrating to the United States in
1886. He married Pauline M. Adams Oct. 20, 1914 at Stevens Point. He
was graduated from Wisconsin College of Physicians and Surgeons,
(Marquette University) Milwaukee in June of 1912 and opened a dental
office at Two Rivers in the fall of 1912. He practiced dentistry
until 1970 when he fully retired.
Dr. Klein was a member of Manitowoc County Dental Society, Wisconsin
State Dental Society and National American Dental Assn., Two Rivers
Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 352, Local Equitable Reserve Assn., and
Third Order of St. Francis. He was also a member of Knights of
Columbus since 1970 and a charter member of Two Rivers Knights of
Columbus No. 1957, served as its first grand knight and was a former
member of the old St. Luke Holy Name Society. Mrs. Klein preceded him
in death March 13, 1960.
Survivors include a son, Charles A. of Two Rivers, two daughters,
Marian Klein and Genevra Klein, of Neenah, five grandchildren. Two
brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers after 4
p.m. Friday, where members of Knights of Columbus will meet at 7:30
p.m. for a Rosary service. There will be a memorial service at 8 p.m.
