OTTOWELL Mildred T. (Mintell) Ottowell, 69, of Woodbury, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. She was the wife of Benjamin Ottowell. Mrs. Ottowell was born November 16, 1942 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Clark) Mintell.

She resided in Woodbury since 2003, previously living in Bridgeport. Mrs. Ottowell had worked at the Warner Co., Bridgeport, Companion and Homemakers for a couple of years. She retired as a paraprofessional after 17 years of service with the Bridgeport Board of Education. She enjoyed fishing and was a communicant of St. Teresa's Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, ------ Mingay and his wife -------- of Shelton and ------- Faria of Sanford, FL, two brothers, ------- Mintell of Milford and ------ Mintell of Cornwall Bridge, CT, three grandchildren, ------ Mingay, Jr. and ------- Mingay both of Shelton and ------- Faria of Sanford, FL and also a very close friend to Mildred and Benjamin, ----- Tate of Watertown. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church, Woodbury. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Route 25, Newtown, CT. Friends may call the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. on Wednesday from 4p.m. to7 p.m. In lieu of contributions, donations may be made to Mildred's family C/O Benjamin Ottowell, 823 Main St. South, Apt. 11, Woodbury, CT 06798.
