SADLER Christine Schnepf Sadler, age 95, of Trumbull, died on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in St. Joseph's Manor. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she had lived in Cambria Heights, N.Y., and Brick, N.J., before living with her daughter and son-in-law in Monroe.

She was a graduate of Adelphi College (Class of 1930) and the American Institute of Banking- Commercial Banking Diploma. She had worked at Marine Midland Bank as a corporate trust officer until her retirement. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing bridge and sewing for her family.

Predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Sadler, she is survived by her loving daughter, --------- S. Ehlers and her husband, -------, of Monroe; two cherished grandchildren, ------- Ehlers and his wife, ------ Wheeler, of Maplewood, N.J., and ----- Fitch and her husband, ------, of Villanova, Pa.; as well as five great-grandchildren, -------, ----, and ----- Ehlers, and ------- and ------- Fitch.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, at 9 a.m. in the Lesko-Miner Funeral Home, (Rte 25) Monroe, and 10 a.m. in St. Peters Episcopal Church, with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may greet her family on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. JosephPs Manor, 6448 Main Street, Trumbull, CT 06611.
