Mary Grace Maxey Harvey Blankenship, 96, of Murdock Street, Princeton died peacefully Sunday morning, March 29, 2020 at Westwood Center in Bluefield Va.
She was born June 30, 1923 at Camp Creek, the daughter of the late Henry Lawrence Maxey and Daisy Hattie Rose Maxey.
She attended Camp Creek grade school and Spanishburg High School.
She was first married to Harold Harvey who preceded her in death in 1949, then married Kelly Blankenship who preceded her in death in 1979.
Also preceding her in death by seven brothers;
Stacey, Ray, Dale, Carl, Fred, Calvin, and Billy Maxey along with
three sisters, Nelly Harvey, Ivory Sitosky and Norma Maxey.
Mary Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and caregiver. She was of the Christian faith, when she was able to attend church.
She dearly loved her grandkids and her special friend Arvin Cecil.
A special thanks to Westwood Nursing Home for their love and attention.
Those left to cherish her memory, her two loving daughters, Pam Sartin & husband Joe of Delaware, Debbie Rasnake and husband J of Bluefield VA;
Four grandchildren, Harold Buckner, David Stanley, Lisa Rasnake Blevins and Kelly Rasnake;
Ten great-grandchildren and Three great-great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews, including Wayne Harvey of Hinton.
Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with a memorial service to be held later.
