Mrs. Theresa Kloeckner, 68, who for many years had charge of the dry goods department in the Schroder Bros. Store operated by her four brothers, died shortly before noon today at the home of her brother, Frank, after an illness of several months.
She was the daughter of P.J. Schroeder and was born in the Town of Two Creeks, September 22, 1871. Forty years ago she moved to Two Rivers and entered the store. After leaving the store she took up practical nursing and 18 years ago was married to John Kloeckner, Iron Ridge Banker. He died about 16 years ago and she returned to Two Rivers to live.
The survivors are two brothers, Frank and Peter Schroeder of Two Rivers and two sisters, Mrs. Peter Beth of Black Creek and Sister M. Hubert of Our Lady of Angels Seminary, Lyons, Ia.
The funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 am at the Keefe Funeral Home at Two Rivers and at 9 o'clock at St. Luke's Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Dean S.V. Hugo will officiate and burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
