Funeral services for August F. Koch, 80, former Two Rivers commercial
fisherman and an engineer on Great Lakes passenger boats, who died at
his home at 1631A N. 27th St., Milwaukee, on Saturday, will be held
in that city at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Feerick Funeral Home, 4620
W. North Ave., and at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers at 1 p.m. Tuesday
with the Beduhn, Deja & Martin Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, in
charge.
Mr. Koch was born in Two Rivers in 1872 and lived there until 30 years
ago when he went to Milwaukee. More recently, he was elevator operator
at the Milsco Leather Manufacturing Company, Milwaukee.
Besides his wife, Laura, he leaves two sons, Alvin J. and Donald J. Koch,
both of Milwaukee, a brother John Koch of Two Rivers, and a sister, Mrs.
Emma Heinzelman, Milwaukee. There are also two grandchildren.
The Holy Name Society of St. Thomas Aquinas Church of which Mr. Koch
was a member, will conduct the vigil at the funeral home at 8 p.m.
