in the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Grumann, in Two
Rivers. Her husband had died 39 yrs. ago. She leaves 7 daughters
and 2 sons. The funeral was Tues. morning from the Catholic Church
in Two Rivers.

Magdalena Koenig, a woman 83 years of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Gruman of this city on Saturday, November 12, after a brief illness. Her death was due to old age and heart failure. She was born in Beswhatie, Upper Silesia, Germany, in the year 1828. Her maiden name was Magdalena Grittner. After the death of her husband, which took place 39 years ago, she came with her family son of whom were grown up and married, to America and settled in Two Rivers. This was in 1873. She leaves seven daughters and two sons, one of the latter being Mr. Jos. Koenig, of the Aluminum Manufacturing Co. Two of her daughters, Mrs. Gruman and Mrs. Hartel, live in this city and one, Mrs. F. Bruhn lives on a farm near Mishicot. The funeral took place from St. Luke's church this morning.
