Alice M. Kosobucki, age 80, formerly of 2307 Garfield St., Two Rivers, and currently a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, December 1, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 1997, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. William O'Brien. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Alice was born October 23, 1917, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Frank J. and Agnes Panowitz Kosobucki. She graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers, with the class of 1935. Alice began her employment at Hamilton Manufacturing Company as an analyst in the cost department. She then worked as a cost construction auditor with the Maritime Commission in Milwaukee. From 1946 until 1972, she was employed as a budget analyst supervisor with the Civil Aeronautics Administration, forerunner of the FAA, located in Washington D.C. In 1972, Alice transferred to Chicago and worked with the Federal Aviation Agency for the Great Lakes Region. She retired in December of 1974 as the chief of the budget division. Alice returned to Two Rivers in January of 1975. She attended classes at H & R Block, and served as part-time secretary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, John and Ann Kosobucki, Two Rivers; one sister, Germaine Pajerski, Springdale, Pa. She is further survived by five nieces, four nephews, 14 great-nieces, 12 great-nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Stanley Pajerski.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. led by Father Bill.
