Mrs. Edward Kowalsky, 74, of 1513-25th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday evening at
Two Rivers Municipal Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two
Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhyner will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery,
Two Rivers.
Mrs. Kowalsky, nee Louise Hippert, was born Sept. 30, 1900, at Two Rivers, daughter
of the late Nicholas and Mary Hoffman Hippert. She was married to Edward Kowalsky
Aug. 16, 1922, at St. Luke Catholic Church. She was a member of the Homemakers Club,
Senior Citizens of Two Rivers and the Ladies Society of St. Luke Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. James (Joan) Yuen, of Wawatosa; two
sons, Robert of Sugar Camp, Wis., and Thomas, of the Hague in the Netherlands; two
sisters, Mrs. Reid Avery and Mrs. Val Rath, of Two Rivers; and a brother, Roland, of
Seattle, Wash., and two grandchildren. A grandchild preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Tuesday at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home Inc., Two
Rivers, where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Senior Citizens memorial
service will be at 6:30.
