PIONEER RESIDENT DIES TODAY WHILE ON VISIT TO CHICAGO
J. KRACHA, 86, IS VICTIM OF A HEART ATTACK
Remains Will Be Brought Here For Burial-Funeral Services To Be Held Friday
While on a visit to his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Ray at Chicago, John
Kracha, aged 86 years, one of the pioneer residents of Two Rivers,
died suddenly this morning from a heart attack. Mr. Kracha has not
been in the best of health since the death of his wife four months
ago.
However he felt well enough though a short time ago to proceed to
Chicago to visit with his daughter. The message received here today
said that he had passed away and that the body would be brought here
for burial. The remains will be accompanied here by a daughter, Mrs.
Fred Tegge of this city who was summoned to Chicago.
Funeral Services Friday
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning from the St. Lukes
church here with interment at Calvary cemetery. The funeral services
have been postponed to allow a son, Frank Kracha, manager of the
plant of the Hamilton Manufacturing Co. at Los Angeles, Calif., to
reach here for the services.
The deceased was born in Bohemia, and came to this country when a
youth of twenty years. He was employed for many years at the Hamilton
plant here. Two daughters, Mrs. Thos. Ray of Chicago and Mrs. Fred
Tegge of this city and one son, Frank Kracha of Los Angeles, survive.

50th Anniversary of John & Anna Kracha
Two Rivers:
Mr. and Mrs. John J. Kracha of this city celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding in a quiet manner at their home Tuesday. The received the congratulations of neighbors and friends and were happy on their occasion. Both Mr. and Mrs. Kracha are in good health. Mr. Kracha is 82 and Mrs. Kracha is 69.

VENERABLE RESIDENTS CELEBRATE
A venerable and highly esteemed couple of this city commemorated an important event in their lives on Tuesday, when Mr. and Mrs. John J. Kracha celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Kracha were married in St. Jacob's church at Nova Cerekev, Bohemia, Feb. 3, 1875 and the ceremony was performed by Father Lugar. Mr. Kracha owned a farm in Bohemia. The couple emigrated to this country in 1886. For a time, Mr. Kracha was employed in the plants of the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co. and later at the Hamilton plant. He retired in 1909.
Mr. and Mrs. Kracha are the parents of three children, Mrs. Fred Tegge and Frank of this city and Mrs. Thomas Ray of Chicago. The couple received many congratulations on the day of their wedding anniversary. Both Mr. Kracha and Mrs. Kracha, aged 83 and 77 respectively, are in good health and enjoying the fruits of their labors together. Among those who gathered with them to celebrate the happy occasion at their home, 1616 Twenty-Third St. were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ray, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kracha, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scheuer, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Klose, Mr. and Mrs. William Hashek, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tegge, Mr. and Mrs. Joh Stanek and Miss Helen Tegge.
